Lois went into the Cancer center so they can position the Radiation machine and document all the positions they need to shoot the radiation. This will keep them from shooting the Radiation in the wrong areas such as the Hip Bones and other vital area's. Each time she goes in the machine will be programed to her body structure and ony put the radiation where it is needed. This will make her procedure go faster each day she goes in for the Chemo/Radiation treatments. Thank you all for being there for us, and God Bless.
Lois had what they call a Pass Port put in her arm. They put a port under the Skin of her left arm after they fed a line in her vein and the line is in the Main artery. This will allow her to recieve the Chemo treatments and any other drugs they may need to give her during treatments or during the time of the Operation. She isn't feeling real well as the pain tends to make her very uncomfortable.
Lois is starting to have alot more pain as the days go by. She told me today she believes it is going to get much much worse befor it gets better.
Along with trying to get everything taken care of with Lois we are having to run around and try to get assistance with our Light Bill payments, and assistance with the Hospital Bills, and Doctor Bills. Please Pray God will provide what we need. I have never felt the pressure so strong as I feel it now, and God is going to have to step in and take over. I know the Lord will never put more on us than we can bare, but the Devil has no pity. Please continue to pray the Lords will be done, and as Job said "Blessed be the name of the Lord".
Lois told me today she is having some flutering in her chest from the PassPort Line they put in her arm. This was a port that was put in her arm and threaded through the Vein to the Main Artery at her heart. They told her because of the flutering she will have to come back in and they will put a dye in her to see what the problem is with this Passport line. Lois needs this line in so they can administer the Drugs she will need during her Chemo Radiation Treatments.
Lois says she feels much worse now, and the pain is not getting any better, but worse. Keep praying and we will update on the Hospital Visit with the Flutering in the Chest. God Bless
I took Lois to the Hospital to have the port line they put in her arm looked at because of the flutering that she was having in her chest. They said that the flutering was not caused by the pick line but that she may be developing some lung problems, and also she may need to see the cardiologist and have an EKG.

Lois had her last fitting with the Radiologist. These fitting are where Lois goes in and they position her on a Table with the radiology machies and they write the positions down so when they shoot the radiation they will put it right where they need it.
Lois will go for her first radiation treatment on September 14th, and this also is the same day she has her PET Scan done to see if the cancer is in her bones or anywhere else in her body Please Pray. Thank all of you again for your concern of Lois and her Condition.
Lois went in this morning for her first radiation treatment which did not take but about 10-15 minutes. Once she finished her Radiation I had to take her to BeaufortMemorial Hospital for a PET Scan which took about 2 hours. Once the PET scan was finisher we had to go back where Lois had her radiation done so she could take her Chemo Treatment.
When lois went in for the Chemo they fitted her with an electronic measuring device and a Bag of Chemo medication which she has to keep in a fanny pack and a Tube goes from the fanny pack to Lois' arm where they installed the Bypass line under her skin and the tube plugs in her arm some weird way. The medication is pumped into her every few minutes 24 hours a day. She will have to have this connected to her for several days or weeks O am not sure yet. Pray for Lois as this is going to make her very sick. God Bless all of you.
Lois went in for her second radiation treatment and she can feel the Sun Burn like effect inside her where the radiation in being put. She has been very tired and can not do very much without having to lay down for a while. The Chemo is starting to make her sick feeling in her stomach whish is causing her not to eat much. Please keep her in your prayers as I know many of you have.
Lois went in for her 3rd Radiation and the Chemo as normal is making her Sick. She is dealing with it very well, and having to sleep with a bag and line in her arm is a trick sometimes. Keep praying the radiation will do something Positive to help Lois. God Bless.
Lois gets a break because they do not do radiation on Saturday and Sunday. Lois had the Chemo bag for 1 week and then they removed it today. After 4 weeks they will put it on again. Lois is getting pretty big doses of Chemo in hopes it will help he better. Thank You and God bless
WOW #10! We hit week number 2 with the Radiation reatments. Lois says she is realy starting to feel the effects now. Her Blood count went down and they have to watch that closely. Please keep praying.
Well we had a cancellation on Lois' radiation treatment due to the Machine broke down but thats OK and they are drawing blood every week now to watch Lois' red blood cell count. They also have strated her on an Iron Drip. They are giving her Iron every day for a week through an IV Drip starting today. Keep Praying and we Thank All of you.
